My client went to Montreal to help her mom move into a new apartment. She had some pieces she wanted to keep and determined that a large dining area was not necessary for her current lifestyle. This is how things turned out.
New pieces we added:
This is from a project I worked on about 4 years ago. My client sold her house shortly after we completed the project. The rooms originally had pale green paint, cream colored formal sofas and a lot of beautiful antiques. She wanted a different feel and so we stained the floor a darker color and painted the rooms a neutral color that picked up colors in the fireplace. The dining table and chairs, buffet, sofa, chairs, coffee table and lighting are all new.
My client had art and a sofa that he loved, the rest of the furniture was ready for a change. In addition to new furniture, we have painted the walls and trim and changed the hardware in the doors from gold toned to nickel and added a new chandelier in the dining area. Next on the agenda-wood floors!
